Dominican's in Rockland County For Hurricane Maria Relief
Dominicans In Rockland For Hurricane Maria Relief
are a group of 30 or so Dominicans living in Rockland County, New York, seeking your assistance to provide humanitarian relief to our families, friends, and others in Dominica who were left destitute and in distress following Hurricane Maria.
It has been a challenging time for our families and friends, some of whom we have yet to personally hear from because communication systems are down. Fortunately, those with working phones have sent word via social media or text messages (thank goodness for social media in these times) that family members and close friends are physically fine. Some fared better than others with water damage; others have lost roofs (which means they’ve lost everything), and some are still living in temporary shelters. The residents of Dominica are reeling and really need help; therefore, we have an ASK.
Will you join us in our efforts to help the people in Dominica?
Thank you on behalf of the people of Dominica
