Make sure you get doubble sided tape.
I'm so happy I read the reviews because I would have been pissed off receiving this. It has no support what so ever. It would just rest on the side of the tank and any little movement would knock it down. So definitely get doubble sided tape to add the support you need. Overall I love this product and was soooo happy I went with the 6inches it adds a beautiful look to the tank that's very sleack and it doesnt look off not one bit. Before adding your tape play the positions to be sure it's where you want it. One thing I do want to mention it does take a while to receive it so order it ASAP if you want it.

    Perfect solution for lifting Fluval lights up off of your tank. Without these, my lights are so close to my 29-gallon tank that dark spots are pronounced in the upper corners. These risers spread the light out, and give me better access to the tank, as well. Very solid-feeling plastic construction makes me confident these will outlast the lights themselves.

    So I opened these up as soon as I received them & instantly I noticed that they did not have anything to secure these to my aquariums. Tried placing them as is & the lights of course just wanna fall over.
    As expensive as these are! For no more than what they are they should come with good quality double sided tape.
    These are 3d printed super easy to make( if) you have one.
    With all the bad stuff outta the way let's get to the positive.
    They do look nice & modern. They do elevate my lights to a more desired height for viewing. Easy to install with the double sided tape you have to (purchase seperately) 😆 really i'm not mad just disapointed.

    This works for what I need it to do, but there is quite a bit of room for improvement. For being 3D printed, it's actually quite sturdy. I'm not concerned about the quality of the product, it's more about the design.
    The bottom bit where it sits on the rim of the tank needs another strip of plastic so it can stay on its own. I currently have it taped to the side of my tank so it doesn't move.
    On the top, "bumpers" would be useful to prevent the light from accidentally being pushed off the stand. I've already had a couple mishaps with a curious cat pushing the light off the stand onto the rock below.
    Overall, good start. Needs tinkering.
