Atlantic Records has announced "THE GREATEST SHOWMAN -REIMAGINED," an unprecedented new companion to Atlantic's RIAA 2x platinum certified soundtrack to 20th Century Fox's blockbuster musical film.
"THE GREATEST SHOWMAN -REIMAGINED" sees songs from the film, all written by GRAMMY, Tony, and Academy Award-winning duo Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (La La Land, Dear Evan Hansen) covered by a remarkable cast of artists. The album is highlighted by a new version of the 3x platinum certified smash, "This Is Me," performed by Keala Settle, Kesha and the legendary Missy Elliott. Other superstars contributing include Panic! At The Disco, P!nk (and her daughter, Willow Sage Hart), Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, Years & Years and Jess Glynne, MAX and Ty Dolla $ign, James Arthur and Anne-Marie, Zac Brown Band among others. As if that weren't enough, the album will include four bonus tracks, performed by Pentatonix, Craig David, Kesha, and Zendaya.

I did not realize it was a remix album when I purchased it. Then it arrived in bad packaging with a bent album cover. After that I read all the negative reviews. I had major anxiety about playing it for my wife because she is EXTREMELY opinionated about this album. I thought the whole plan was going to be a bomb. So, I explained the situation, and that I would return it if she hated it.
Hallelujah! She liked it, especially the bonus tracks. Her official review is that it is different than the original, but overall worth keeping.

the original. Of course it's not the same, why did you buy it? The original soundtrack was very good, these
arrangements mostly follow the original. The ones that don't are interesting on their own. I've always liked
covers of popular songs by other artists. That's what this is. I think it is worth the money.
The opening song is really good, with extra vocals and instruments thrown in, making it like something you'd hear on the radio. In fact, all the songs are like that.
I don't know the singers on these songs, except Pink and Kelly Clarkson. The woman on A Million Dreams is good, I've probably heard her before. The girl in the reprise did a good job, too.
Come Alive is terrible, prefer the original. The men sing all right, but it's not the same without the others.
I like both versions of The Other Side.
This Is Me is great, except for the rap section. It wouldn't be a re-mix without something new, and the words fit the song, but the original's better. I liked how the actress from the movie sings on the chorus.
Never Enough is beautiful, nice piano and drums.
Rewrite the Stars and Tightrope are good as is. I think the actress from the movie sings on both, not sure though.
From Now On sounds like a country song with the guitar, fiddle, and banjo. Were the beginning lyrics changed?
The last three tracks on the album are not the best I've heard, except for the solo version of This is Me. Don't know who she is, but she sounds like she means what she's singing, like the movie version. Not bad for an album meant for the radio.
