About the Author

Juliette Cross calls lush, moss-laden Louisiana home, where she lives with her husband, four children, and black lab named Kona. She is a multi-published author of paranormal and fantasy romance. She has a BA in creative writing from Louisiana State University, a MEd in gifted education, and was privileged to study under the award-winning author Ernest J. Gaines in grad school. From the moment she read Jane Eyre as a teenager, she fell in love with the Gothic romance-brooding characters, mysterious settings, persevering heroines, and dark, sexy heroes. Even then, she not only longed to read more novels set in Gothic worlds, she wanted to create her own.

    Oh my my...these Morgon men just keep getting hotter and sexier! And I really want one of my own.

    I was so intrigued by Paxon in the first book. I needed more of him. And this story gave me exactly what I wanted and needed.

    Ella is Jessen and Sorcha’s friend. She’s quiet, reserved, beautiful, pure, and unsure of herself and her talents.

    Paxon, Mr. Sexy & playful Morgon, helps bring out her confidence and her inner sexual goddess. To see her break out of her shell and stand up for herself and take what she wants was fulfilling and made me route for her the entire way.

    To watch their relationship get stronger and grow was a beautiful thing. The passion between them was delicious and strong made me crave more with each turn of the page.

    The author is an amazing storyteller. I love how she makes me feel everything. Her descriptions are vivid and detailed and I feel as if I’m there in that wonderful dragon fantasy world.

    If you love a well-written paranormal romance about sexy, possessive, and protective dragons, I can’t recommend this series enough!

    A sleek predator waiting in the wings to catch his mate..

    When I started reading this book, I thought Ella Barrow was intelligent but one of the meekest, mousiest characters I had ever read. Her parents had her trained to be the perfect Stepford wife-not a hair out of place, always showing proper manners and never arguing-even for her own safety. I was pleasantly surprised at how assertive and strong she could be when she finally had a wake up call with her parental-approved, waste of space, loser boyfriend (obviously I didn't like Clayton!).
    Paxton Nightwing was protective, sweet, demanding, patient. He seems to be a quiet and laid back, however, his dragon's desire to have Ella and keep her safe overrides his human side's efforts to take things at a slower pace.
    Ella and Paxton's romance was a simmering boil. It began slowly and gradually builds up steam until the lid pops off; courtesy of Ella and her new found independence. Their make-out sessions and love scenes were exquisite-nothing raunchy but very, very sexy!
    I enjoyed every minute of this book! I admit that Paxton was my favorite character but for the life of me, I didn't see why he would want Ella. As the story evolved I did catch the appeal he had in her and was happily satisfied with the end results. Cross has created a fascinating world -I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a unique paranormal story.

    Nightbloom is book three in the Nightwing series. I just love this world Juliette has created. I find it so easy to fall into and I am always sad to leave it when the book ends. This one is about Ella and Paxon. I loved seeing Ella come out of her shell and find her confidence, just as I loved watching Paxon fight for her. I have to say, I seriously hated Clayton with a passion. I almost hoped he would do something more just to get himself killed because he frustrated me so much. I’m so glad Ella got rid of him quickly. I loved the poems in this story and I wish this were a movie so I could see her artwork in more than just my mind. It sounds amazing. This is a must read for Juliette fans and fans of paranormal reads!

    Paxton Nightwing is a playboy, or a play- Morgon. So imagine is surprise when he is attracted to Ella, the human bestie of his cousin’s wives. Ella grew up n a hose with deep seated hatred of Mogons. She has always been shelters, pampered and controlled by her parents. She respects them, loves them, and believes that they know best. This is why she dates a douchebag like Clayton Kerrington. An incident occurs causing Paxton and Ella to become close. They both want more yet blackmail is at hand.

    Ella is meek, shy and insecure. Never having to decide on anything can make a gal that way. Paxton pushes her to be true to herself-to stop living for others. He is good for her. Yet there are times I honestly questioned if she was good for him. The unknown obstacles (I have to be vague or else it will be spoiler city) could tear them apart. At times I wanted to shout at her for being stupid but I understand how love for someone will have you protecting them at all cost. I think my main problem with Ella is that I viewed her as weak. I tend not to like female characters without a backbone. Thankfully she does grow one.

    This is a charming tale, one that has you finished in one seating without realizing it. Your only question will be is there more.

    So third and last instalment of the Nightwing Series.
    I am so in love with this author!!
    Anything you'll read by her will knock your socks off!!
    This one is the love story between the timid Ella and the gorgeous Nightwing cousin Paxon.
    We meet Paxon in an earlier book and got a glimpse of his sexiness there but in this book we get 150% sexiness!!
    Poor Ella. Her mom has always drilled her since she was small to fear Morgon men.
    Instantly attracted to Paxon cousin of Lucius and Lorion from the previous books. He is smitten with her since their first encounter.
    One problem... She has a jerkoff boyfriend that only cares about his image and career. He will go to any extent even blackmail to get Ella to be his wife. Even if it means lying and cheating.
    This one is my personal favourite!! Love how Ella was a timid girl and blossomed into a confidant woman with her mate by her side!!

    I wasn't really feeling the romance between our two main characters from "Nightbloom"
    I liked the plot and the further world building from the first two books.
    This one was just a little boring for me personally.

    Needless to say, I would still recommend giving this series a go if it sounds like something you would like!
