Piece of art on my wrist
I wanted to get a Navitimer-like watch, but could not see spending 5-6 grand for a Breitling (maybe someday). Having owned several Seiko watches over the years (most of which I still have) I knew that Seiko makes a great watch for a relatively reasonable price. I had been looking at several models over the past few months and read lots of reviews, watched lots of Youtube videos, etc., One of the Seikos I had been considering was the SSC275. However, they had one at a local store nearby my workplace and I tried it on for size. It was a super looking watch, but was just too big for my small wrist. One of the complaints I saw in some reviews here was that this SNA411 is on the smaller side. However, those comments seem to be made by people with larger wrists. Based on several pictures other's posted, I decided to pull the trigger on this watch! For my smaller wrist, this watch is perfect! It looks substantial without being ostentatious. It is a bit smaller than the SSC275, but turns out to be perfectly proportioned for my relatively smaller wrists. The pictures in the Amazon ad do not do this watch justice! In real life this thing is a work of art! It is NOT flat like it appears in the Amazon pictures, but rather very deep and 3-dimensional. (Looks every bit as "deep" as a Breitling that a friend has). I read one review here that described it as a mini Roman Colosseum. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea. One feature that is kind of cool is the way the stem and the buttons "lock down." The main stem screws down tight and the two stop watch buttons have collars that screw down, thus locking the buttons. I think this may also help make the watch water tight.I read in some reviews people complaining that this is an "older" model than they thought. Well, for myself, I don't care - it is a beautiful, classy, timeless looking watch. For just a tad over 200 bucks, this watch is a heck of a value (assuming the quality turns out to be as good as my previous Seikos, and I have no reason to believe it won't be). This watch looks like it costs 10-15 times what it did! I love it so far! If anything happens for better or worse, I will update this review if needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of my favorite watches
Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2022
im a big fan of pilot chronos, and own several at a number of price points, but of them all, i do believe this one is my favorite. it isnt an automatic, and doesnt have the flair of a breitling or omega, but for this watch those are pros and not cons: its a fantastic looking, great wearing, inexpensive watch that i dont have to be afraid to actually wear around town. its more that up to task as a daily-wear watch and never fails to attract attention and compliments, and the E6B and tachymeter are more functional that some of my other watches thanks to the domed crystal that magnifies the tiny scales (im old enough i grew up using a slide rule, and make frequent use of it for day to day calculations).

i do recommend replacing the strap though, it is without question the ugliest strap on any of my watches... a nato band in black with a yellow stripe would be my recommendation. i also have a yellow leather strap that looks great on it, but man that nato band makes the watch just POP.

5.0 out of 5 stars FIXED: Stopwatch resets incorrectly
Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2022
Edit: I didn't realize you could manually reset the zero on the stopwatch, and that it can be affected by hard impacts. Watch is great, simply user error.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Good watch, but the stopwatch hands (yellow) do not reset to 12 when zeroed out. The second hand resets to 51 and the minute hand resets to 10, makes it unusable for my purposes. See picture.

Army pilot. Bought this as a gift to myself out of flight school to be used for everyday wear and for time-on-target flight planning. When I zero out the yellow stopwatch hands, it's supposed to go to 00:00. Instead, the hands end up at the 10:51 position. What's the point of a chronograph that can't be used to time things? The watch looks really nice, wears well, isn't bulky, and generally isn't hard to use. For the price I at least expected it to do the bare minimum and it didn't really stack up. If I were to purchase again, I'd likely go with a Citizen Navihawk or other flight chronograph.
