Customers are unhappy with the wire quality. They mention it keeps fraying and breaking, and that the cable immediately stripped its coating and began breaking strands.

Cable is barely useful - Handles are great - BUY THE BETTER CABLE
Bought this to pull a back window out of an old car I was parting out, and thankfully the window had half removed itself due to age because the cable immediately stripped its coating and began breaking strands with just a few GENTLE movements across the 30+ year old window seal. The cable fit into the handles great, and they worked to hold it in place but it was a pain to have to keep trimming or installing new lengths of cable into the handles, and having to re-insert the cable through the gap between the window and body again and again.Definitely would recommend getting "Tool Aid S&G (87425) Windshield Cut-Out Wire, Golden" based on reviews and not even bothering with the cable these handles come with.Unless you get lucky like me, and it BARELY does the job.

We wanted these to use to take out a windshield. The wire kept fraying and breaking and we were not able to remove the windshield. They might work for other purposes.
