Product Description

This is a single pack of a rounded 6 months and up pacifier. Ecopiggy Ecopacifier is the preferred natural rubber pacifier. Sustainably made from 100% natural rubber, from the tree Hevea Brasiliensis, ecopacifier is softer and more natural than artificial silicone. Our round shield lightly touches the child's nose, simulating the soothing feel of breast feeding. Ecopacifier's single-piece design ensures no small pieces to gather dirt and germs, and no small pieces means no choking hazards. Ecopiggy natural rubber pacifiers are made without chemical softeners or colorants, and are BPA-Free, Phthalate-Free, PVC-Free, and Paraben-Free. Children love the natural soothing effects of Ecopacifier, offered in two styles; Orthodontic and Rounded. Due to the soft quality of Ecopacifier, our natural rubber pacifier will not leave marks on your child's face. Child happy. Parents happy. Ecopiggy's Natural Pacifier, Ecopacifier, is made of 100% pure rubber from the rubber tree, Hevea brasillensi. These trees are sustainably grown in plantations in Malaysia. The rubber tree exudes a latex sap, the world’s primary source of natural rubber, which is tapped in a similar manner to maple syrup from a maple tree. After about 20-25 years the tree stops producing latex sap. The trees are then harvested and replanted. The harvested wood is used extensively in furniture, flooring, construction and even toys. From seed to tree to ecopacifier to wooden toys, the Rubbertree has an eco-friendly, sustainable and high quality life. Ecopacifier is sustainably made in Malaysia. Ecopiggy is committed to offering the highest quality, natural products. We feel it's equally important to think of the overall footprint when manufacturing products, so we manufacturing our natural rubber pacifiers right at the source of natural rubber! They ship consolidated, and are once again hand-inspected and packaged in the USA. Happy Earth. Happy Families.

I like it but still working on getting baby to take it.

I like it but still working on getting baby to take it.
I received this today. I like it but still working on getting baby to take it. He is 8 months, exclusively breastfed, and I have been wanting this type of paci for the last 7 months. Finally did it with all the great reviews. Compared to the Avent Soothie: the 0-6 month soothie is about the same or just a little stiffer than the ecopiggy. The 6+ month soothie is MUCH more firm. I'm a bit concerned he could chew through this, but haven't seen other reviewers having this issue. The soothies are the same size for 0-6 and 6+ just different level of firmness. So for sizing against the ecopiggy, they are tiny. Out of curiosity, I tried both and the avent are very narrow and the ecopiggy fills the palate. So a baby used to one may balk at the difference. After I put in boiled water for 2-3 minutes, there is no smell or taste. I did not check before I soaked it. Quality seems really good. Initial results: My baby loves his Soothies and has no trouble keeping them in his mouth. He kept spitting this out after a few sucks. He had just napped but usually still wouldn't refuse the soothie, yet I usually don't let him have it in between sleeping as much as possible. But I was still somewhat surprised he spit out the eco piggy so much. So I thought, it is new, different shape and texture. He needs time to adjust. I tried again when in the car and then again at home. He wanted to chew it on the side and handle and where his molars would be. He wasn't interested in sucking. I tried again with bed time (needs the paci to fall asleep). He still was spitting it out after a few sucks. So tonight he used the soothie to get to sleep. I am going to keep trying bc I really want him to use this instead. If I have success, I'll try to update.

We LOVED this pacifier! I know it says to replace after a few months but it took a year for me to notice any stickiness or wear on this thing. It was super squishy and my son who is a belly sleeper could sleep with it without knocking it out of his mouth constantly. He would only suck on this and the Bibs pacifiers but if I let him choose he would choose this one. After a year of using it I finally threw it away when it got sticky but he only used it at night and during naps. It never had any tears or wear on it. In fact my second son used it for a few times before I put it in storage for 2.5 years. I thought it was too long of a nipple, I thought "what newborn baby would suck on this?". He just didn't like pacifiers. I was going to get rid of it but I thought I'd give it a wash and see if my third son would like it and he did, right away! And after washing, it still looked good so we kept it. A great gift for someone who is going to be breastfeeding or naturally minded. If I have another child I'll be getting another.

Baby loved it...too bad cat did too!

So this is all natural made from rubber. My baby took to this really well when he was rejecting the other pacifiers I tried. This is big compared to other pacifiers but maybe it reminds baby of the moms chest more than other pacifiers (though it is bigger than moms chest).

Evidently this is also the type of pacifier my cat likes. No that was not a typo. My cat stole it from my baby and was carrying it around in her mouth. The cat can smell it (must be the unique natural rubber smell) even if buried under blankets and digs it out to get.

Soooo funny but also sucks since this turned out to be a pretty pricey cat toy.

Great paci! We chose not to introduce a pacifier until our son was almost 5 weeks old and my milk was fully producing. Long story short, this was our 6th pacifier. He took to it almost immediately! Within 15 mins he had the hang of it. I followed instructions and boiled it for a few minutes. I did not notice the rubbery smell mentioned in some other reviews. We had tried MAM, Nanobebe, Soothies, Wubanub & a few others and this has been the only one he’s been able to keep in his mouth. He only really needs it for naps and car rides, but with him having to go into daycare I was worried about him not being able to keep one in these first few months. I’m so thankful we found this one! (side note, we will be working to switch to an orthodontic pacifier once he begins to get teeth should he still be using a pacifier then)

I have a friend that recommended these and they’ve been a pretty hyped up baby product must have. For us, not so much. They’re well made, and may be very useful for some babies, but for my 2 month old, it was too big and I’ll try her again soon now that she’s a month older. She just gagged every time I offered it compared to her mam paci. She is breastfed though and tends to be very particular about bottles and pacifiers. My friend also went on to use a different pacifier, so like I said, I’m not sure they are worth the money or not.

I’ve been getting these pacifiers for the last three years with my babies. And they’re the best! Both of my girls have/do still love them so much. People keep commenting on how the pacifiers aren’t consistent. they are. I have bought them several times. But because they’re natural rubber they expand and darken after a few weeks of use. This is NOT a company mistake. They are not sending you the wrong pacifier. Please keep that in mind. And if you don’t change the paci out enough, your child may not want the new one bc they’re used the the worn in one. Just thought someone may need to read this to make the best decision for their child’s pacifiers—- in my opinion😊
