Product Description

Epsom Salt’s origins began as one of the first natural spas in the UK, in the early 17th Century. Tradition tells that the water was discovered by Henry Wicker, a farmer who noticed that his cattle would not drink the water, and on tasting it himself noticed the bitter quality, unlike ordinary water which is due to the rich mineral content.

Epsom soon became renowned as a spa destination and people would flock from all over the country for up to a week at a time to drink the ‘medicinal, healing waters’ from the Epsom well.

Although no longer sourced in Epsom due the well being closed in the early 20th century, Magnesium and Sulfate are found in many natural sources and have since been combined and used widely as a proven treatment in medicine and healthcare for a wide variety of applications as Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt).

It has long been a bathroom staple used by professional athletes and trainers and is now fast becoming a celebrity secret to help maintain a slim, healthy-looking figure.

I love my Epsom baths! I have this double pack, on my subscribe and save monthly order, and I’m always eager for it to arrive. It soothes the body, muscles, and mind. Epsom has magnesium in it, so it helps to detoxify the body, as well as provide healing to sore muscles and wounds. Taking an epsom bath before bed, is a fabulous way to wind down from a busy day. I love it. You should get some!

I like to use it as part of a Combo Bath ...

This product arrived very quickly and had a more reasonable price than the other Epsom Salts that I looked at. I like to use it as part of a Combo Bath soak. 2 cups of sea salt (draws out toxins); 2 cups of baking soda (alkaline); 2 cups of epsom salt (relaxing).....Soak for about 30 minutes then drink some coconut water and take a nap. Very relaxing. When I wake up, I have a lot of energy. I alternate this with Bentonite Clay baths which seems to make my skin softer and more blemish free.

Epson salts as part of regimen for gall bladder/liver cleanse

I have super sensitive taste buds, I purchased this food grade product as part of a liver/gall bladder detox regimen. Epson salts have many flavorings in them, I found the product to b OK but had left over residue rate of other products they place in their products. So the after taste was disappointing but not a reason not to use in my next detox. I guess cleaning machinery of other products made on the same machine is an art form not well attained yet.

Epsom salt is Epsom salt! Wonderful product for soaking out those ashes and pains. Magnesium is a great muscle relaxer and it is easily absorbed through the skin in a bath. Most people are magnesium deficient and it is a pleasant way to boost your levels. Enjoy!
