Til Death Do Us Party (A Liv and Di in Dixie Mystery Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 70 ratings

Las Vegas knows how to party, and for once, event planner Liv McKay won’t be entirely behind the scenes. The Dixie gang is in Sin City to celebrate Mama and Earl’s rockin’ Elvis-themed wedding. And between juggling the botched bachelorette party and a problem-plagued soirée back home, Liv’s ready to double down on some fun.

Mama & Earl’s happily-ever-after seems like a sure thing, but all bets (and nuptials) are off when they get to the Burning Love Wedding Chapel. Their Elvis-impersonating minister has left the building . . . permanently. And even worse, Liv’s cousin, Little Junior, is suspected of his murder.

With Mama’s happy ending on the table and Little Junior about to lose it all, the stakes are higher than ever. Liv and her best friend, Di, must hit the Strip to find the real killer before he finally plays his ace...

Plans to come to a screeching halt when their minister and Elvis impersonator is found dead!

Plans to come to a screeching halt when their minister and Elvis impersonator is found dead!
Till death do us party by Vicki fee Booth talks Books review.Vicki Fee has taken us on a long distance trip with Liv to her Mama and Earl‘s wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. One thing after the other happens as the newlyweds try to make their way to the altar of an Elvis-led wedding ceremony.Plans to come to a screeching halt at the Burning Love Wedding chapel when their minister and Elvis impersonator is found dead during what fans know as Elvis Week in mid-August. How convenient, yes? Who could possibly have knocked off Elvis? Was it the nephew, the photographer, the lady who runs the chapel or Dis ex-husband that has mysteriously appeared back in her life. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there unless you’re the one who dies. The action, tragedy, and suspense are wrapped around comedic interactions between the characters I, and I hope readers of the Liv and Di in Dixie Mysteries, have come to love in Liv, Di, Mama, Earl and the whole gang.I love that Vicki took us out of our usual town of Dixie Tennessee and flew us right in the middle of the crazy confusion of Sin City. It’s nice to get out of town every once in a while, and this is also true for book settings. I love the new venue, I love meeting the new relatives and I love getting a look at the characters when they are out of their element. Just wait till you see Di’s new side, whew boy!So, who killed Elvis? Vicki has wrapped this new mystery up in a hugely successful way and I can truly say this is the best book out of the series. Who knew I would actually like something with Elvis in it? It’s yet another thing that I did not see coming. Thanks, Vicki!Til Death Do Us Party (A Liv And Di In Dixie Mystery)

Meet Liv McKay, a Southern Lady to the core and an extraordinary event planner. This time she is in Las Vegas with her best friend, husband and in-laws while she orchestrates her Mama's Elvis-themed wedding. Mama's bachelorette party gets out of hand with some partially clad, hot looking male waiters but the real shocker is when they arrive at the Burning Love Wedding Chapel and find their Elvis-impersonating minister, dead! To add to the confusion, Mama's nephew, Little Junior becomes the police's prime suspect. Can Liv find the real murderer in time to save the wedding ceremony and honeymoon trip? Elvis-impersonators, naughty bachelorette parties, slot machines and murder! What more do you want in a great reading adventure.

This is another rollicking entry in a delightful series that gives us southern charm in the best possible way. The characters are both realistically lovable and laughter inducing wacky. I really like how the murder plots twist thru all the possible suspects, leaving lots of clues but still giving us a surprising ending. I read this in one setting because I couldn't stop laughing and had to find out who really did the dirty deed. This is the fourth book in the series and they are all this funny and entertaining! A must for any cozy mystery reader!

Great stories that keep you interested in them until the end. Trying to figure out who did the murders along with Liv and the others was great , I missed a couple of them and was surprised at the ending. Really enjoyed the party ideas and recipes at the end of the books. Hope there are more of Liv and Di to come.

Another fun adventure for Liv the party planner and her family and best friend, Di. This series is so much fun and I enjoy the humor that takes place in these cozy mysteries. This time Liv's mom is getting married in Las Vegas and the family gets involved in an investigation when the Elvis tribute artist (they don't like to be called impersonators, LOL) DIES before finishing the wedding ceremony. Evidence points to Liv's cousin, Little Junior, but Liv knows there is more to the story!

I have really enjoyed this authors previous books but this one was more characters and shenanigans. Some of the characters, fine in small doses, were annoying in larger ones. The murder didn't occur until 1/3 of the way into the book. I didn't get much further. When a book is boring and/or annoying, I give it up. No point in wasting my time when I can read something else. I am sure glad I didn't pay much for this book.
