To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Easy movements, well though out instructions, easy to follow movements. This was my first workout DVD with Yoga and I really enjoyed it. Ms. Narain is an excellent instructor.
The instructor moved too quickly through the exercises with the chair. There is also no pause between section 2 and 3 as the instructor moved to regular yoga on the floor.
Less helpful, with a pace and movement that is too fast, at least for me. The British accent of the leader is also harder to listen to, and the sound was distorted in my DVD. I will give this one away.
I listened to the introduction and was buoyed up by her saying these exercises would be geared toward seniors or people with injuries. I'm very confused about who her target audience is because as a senior I had a very difficult time following her pace and modeling her extensions. Sadly, there were no alternatives offered . I find that good practitioners like her often forget what it is like to be at the starting line. I suggest trying Jane Adams' dvds or Anne Burnell's dvds if you're a senior beginning yoga.
