Load Balancing works well. This unit (by design) does not aggregate channels.

Load Balancing works well. This unit (by design) does not aggregate channels.
I am using the Peplink 20 for home use. My ISP (Charter) maximum upload is 5Mbs. Since I backup to a remote server (cloud) I needed to increase my upload speeds. I purchased this unit and set it up to load balance my two WANs. This is the low end of a series of high end business routers. It is more than adequate for home use and so far has worked flawlessly. I did upgrade the firmware (also easy). Please note, this router does not support Wi-Fi. You will need a Wi-Fi access point plugged into one of the LAN ports. If you had been using a Wi-Fi router before, you can set it up in bridge mode, and save yourself the purchase of a access point.I set up the unit to handle my WI-FI calling. Simple setup in QOS set-up.IMPORTANT. THIS UNIT DOES NOT AGGREGATE (OR BOND) CHANNELS ON YOUR WANS (only your ISP can do that, at least in the hardware layer).Since all the unit does is load balance, to get the full benefit on uploads you must either start parallel processes (typically UNIX/LINUX or Command Prompt in Windows) or if your Windows software supports multiple threads, make sure these are threads have independent sockets. If not, only one of your WANs will be used.Image shows how the unit load balances. My ISP is 60Mbs/5Mbs. I am not doing any significant downloads so I am no where near the maximum rates; I am pushing my uploads (on purpose) to the limit.
