Survival Tips for Normal People

Tips and Info on Getting Ready for Disaster

Our authorities – and our crazy disaster/zombie apocalypse friends – tell us all from time to time to be prepared for any sort of disaster. And while we know that we should have some sort of plan, most people remain unprepared. At the time of such catastrophic events is not the time to get ready. Right now is the time. When things are relatively quiet.

In this book the author gives you practical, no nonsense advice on preparing for and then surviving a disaster. This book wasn't written for the the 'prepper' or survival expert. Rather, it was written for the everyday person who has that nagging feeling they aren't prepared, but they don't have the time or inclination to study every book, magazine and web-site on the subject.

In other words, this book is for you!

James E. Baker is an avid reader, writer, musician and self-proclaimed geek (a title he continually earns by providing tech support for friends, family and acquaintances).

Among his many talents is the ability to sing, write music, play saxophone, keyboard, guitar and bass guitar.

He is a proud, life-long native of Georgia. He lives there with his wife, son and daughter, dog and (currently) two fish.

He can further prove his Georgia southernness by proclaiming his love for Chick-fil-A biscuits with cheese, chili dogs from The Varsity (whada-ya-have, whada-ya-have?!?!), the fact that a ‘soda’ or ‘coke’ can only stand for Coca-cola, and he loves the weather – every other day or so, when it changes to something completely different.

This was a very helpful book, I liked that it was for normal people. It covered every thing you would need in an emergency and what would be needed in the first 72 hours of a disaster.

Its your run of the mill cookie cutter approach to telling individuals the same information others have tried to do before him. It is worth the time to read.

Very informational. I love reading stuff from this writer.
