About the Author

Jennifer Sivec writes beautifully broken stories with heart. She was the girl who hid under the covers with her flashlight, reading until she fell asleep, the girl who saw monsters and fairies when she closed her eyes, and believed that there could truly be a Narnia if she wished it hard enough. She was the girl who loved to read more than playing outside, and did everything with her nose in a book. Now she writes stories of her own, creating her own reality, while sparking the imagination and pulling on the heartstrings of others, even her own children. She's always been drawn to broken and imperfect characters; those who wrestle with their moral compass, and struggle with their own demons. Getting to create her own characters and write stories like this now, is truly a dream come true, and she has never been more fulfilled. For her, writing has been an escape, a refuge, and an outlet throughout her life and she feels so fortunate to get to channel her energy and creativity in this way. Her body of work includes the Eva series and the standalone novel, I Run to You. In February 2016 she released the first novel in her fantasy series, The Lost Children, beginning with The Forgotten. Themes of love, loss, abandonment, and resilience can be found in all of her books. She has been incredibly fortunate to work with amazing people who challenge and teach her every day.     A Beautiful story of survival. Of love. Even through all the tragedy this story is so hauntingly beautiful. I adored Brynn, Nick, Eva and even Adam. Jennifer Sivec did a wonderful job with this. Have the tissues ready and be prepared for a journey.

    I have not read a series quite like this one. Leaving Eva was so engaging that once I started I could not put down. It pulled you into the life of a little girl Eva that you wish with all your heart had a better life then the one she was given so far. In Losing Eva I was an emotional wreck. I cried so hard and yet I could not tear myself away from the story. Saving Eva really brings the lives of Brynn and Eva to a close and I am so sad the story has ended. The series will make you smile, cry, laugh, and warm your heart. Jennifer is an amazing writer and I know she put her heart and soul into Eva.

    I have read all of author Jennifer Sivec's books and she writes some amazing stories!! I love her writing style, her characters and the breakneck pace that she sets. This is the complete set of her Leaving Eva series and it is amazing!! If you haven't read anything by this author, then start here! You can get the books separate, but there is no point as you will be one-clicking the next one as soon as you finish reading the previous book. This is one of my newest favorite authors and it is sure to become yours as well!

    The Eva Series will.stay with you long after you read the last words. From the heartbreak of the young girl you meet in Leaving Eva, to the traumatic events faced by Eva/Brynn and Adam in Losing Eva, and concluding with the strength found only in love written so well in Saving Eva, Jennifer Sivec will lead you through a story of a life that is not always pretty. There is a darkness in this trilogy and not every author could make it so profound and believable. Yet through it all there is an underlying thread of Love. Love that is searched for, longed for, and ultimately the one thing to live for. Wonderfully written and absolutely memorable, these stories will not disappoint.

    Sometimes being strong is the only choice you have. For Brynn this statement couldn't be more true.
    This is a series that will stick with you long after the last page. Jennifer Sivec sucked me into Brynn's life and hasn't let me go. Trust me when I say that this series will have you questioning your own strength and ability to overcome in the face of adversity.
    Brynn's life from the beginning isn't a fairytale. It's a nightmare of epic proportions and yet she never gives up. I refuse to give anything away as reading this series is an experience that needs to be taken. Do yourself a favor and buy this series and hunker down for the long haul.
