Top reviews from the United States

Not my usual genre, so I found it a bit cheesy. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I won't be looking for later books in the series. Like most romances I have read, the ending is fairly predictable from the start, but I did like the way it was done. If you're looking for something light, something sweet, this is it.

If you are looking for a light-hearted, summer beach read, this is it! Malibu Angel is a sweet romance that just makes you warm and fuzzy inside. The pace of the story was good and the writing style was uncomplicated which made for an easy, quick read.

Angeline was beautiful in her clumsiness, Sam was noble in his protectiveness, and together they just clicked. Whether you believe in guardian angels or not, this is a fun, easy read that will make your lounging time by the pool or on the beach breeze by.

This is the first time in reading this author for me. I found it had a interesting beginning that tantalized your interest right away. Angeline seems to be having a bit of busy morning but you find out it had a few strings pulled. Sam is her guardian angel and he keeps getting warned to step back on certain things. He then ends up being a lifeguard but he is not the only angel there. He also has only so much time left till things will change for him and can he make it because oh the temptation. Angeline is trying to launch her own business surfer wear but needs to learn to surf. Now things will happen that this author will take you along on how their paths meet and the sequence of events that follow make for a sweet romance. Of course this is not all apples and cream because you have the jerk who thinks he is all that in the picture also. Interesting twist that will occur and when the finial event plays out you will get a interesting turn of events that will totally be unexpected. This was totally easy to read with a flow that keeps you cruising until the final page.

Malibu Angel by Mia Fox is the first novel that I have read by her. This story caught my attention immediately. I love anything that has romance and a little bit of the supernatural. Unlike a majority of supernatual and paranormal novels, this one features guradian angels. The good kind of angels that watch out for us no matter what. But Mia Fox has beautifully woven several exciting twists and leaves readers wondering what will happen. The suspense of the guradian angel's assignment and the danger that looms right around this assignment creates for an edge of your seat read. Brilliantly spun together is the danger, suspense, and romance. A romance that is highly forbidden and one that make a potent lure for readers everywere.

Mia Fox's romantic suspense is a must read. A male guardian angel is given his toughest assignment yet. He has to protect a human woman. One that instantly attract him more than he likes. He needs to control his attraction for the human woman and protect her from harm that is just around the corner. There are so many what-ifs inside this suspenseful read that readers will be holding their breathe wondering what happens to the attraction between the angel and the human woman as well as what happens if he lets his desires be known for her. I loved reading this hot romantic novel. Mia Fox knows exactly what readers need and delivers just that plus more. Malibu Angel is the most intoxicating hot read that I have read yet. Readers will find their pulse speeding as the manificent plot unfolds. Readers get ready to head to the beach where duty, desire and laws are about to become blurred and heated. Overall, I highly recommend this romance to readers world wide.

Title: MALIBU ANGEL
Series: Guardian Angel #1
Category /Genre: Contemporary, Paranormal Romance
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Received from: Mia Fox (in exchange for an honest review)
Grammar/editing: A – near perfect

This is the first book in Mia Fox’s new GUARDIAN ANGELS series. Each will stand alone.

There are many kinds of angels all around us.

What kind of person runs into a fire when all others are running out? A fireman is a guardian angel to those he rescues!

What kind of person accepts a life of being around those who are sick and miserable, all with a cheery disposition? Nurses and doctors are guardian angels!

What kind of person stands in the heat of summer for eight hours-a-day enjoying the beauty that is the ocean, but only able to venture into that inviting water when affecting a rescue? Lifeguards are obviously guardian angels, too!

That’s where Sam and Evan come in. They have been placed on Malibu beach to keep the flock of tourists safe. Sam has been given a specific assignment – Angeline, a wicked-smart, but clumsy woman with the beauty of a Hallmark cherub. The only problem for him is that he has already fallen in love with her…and that’s against the G.A. rules.

I absolutely loved this quick and easy summer romance.

**I purchased this book from a different website**

This was a light, sweet read with a bit of action to keep the pages turning.

Going against the grain, against the rules because you know that it's just meant to be. Taking a chance that this it the real thing.

Angeline is a sweet, a bit naïve and clumsy, woman trying to make her way in the world.

Sam is more than what he appears to be and can't seem to help himself where Angeline is concerned.

I like the storyline and the characters. It's a feel good read that shows you that love can come from all places.
