Great read! I really loved it! Lolah Lace is at it again, with another one of her dark and provocative stories. This book is thought provoking and unique. She's the best at creating leading-men/characters that we presumed to hate, only to realized that we loved them just as much. I loved everything about this book. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers but this author always makes it so hard for me to wait until all the books in the series are released. If you're not a fan of books with cliffhangers then you might want to wait until all the books are available. Great job Lolah.

I have a great love for Lolah Lace books but this book was not what I thought, don't get me wrong I liked it, but something was missing. I'm not sure what it was. I liked Kelby even though I thought her character could have done better for herself. Antonio was a straight a$$, I don't care how good you look, how great your body is and what your profession is you don't get to treat people like crap just because you got ish going on in your life that you don't know how to deal with!! I can't believe that he got upset because she didn't tell him her secret....well Mr. T you told her not to contact you or else you would do some pretty awful things to her...think on that before you get up in your feelings! All in all it was a decent read and I did read it in one sitting. I am looking forward to the next installment.

The Zebra Killer was dramatic and suspenseful. Every time I thought I had the killer figured out Lolah through in another twist or turn. Add in the hot and heavy sexual tension and ice water will be needed . The second book Heart of Glass was a lesson in fighting attraction while being demanding. Antonio demanded that Kelby be inexperienced, submitted and love him while not knowing what he truly wanted or needed. Emotional and filled with ups and downs with the promise of more to come.

I didn't like the first book dealing with the murders of the biracial girls. I wasn't feeling it at all. the main (h) left a lot to be desired her character was just horrible... The second book was much better. It had several typos thru out which was distracting but I did enjoy the book. Will definitely read heart of glass 2.

Ms. Lace know she can put a story together (excuse my grammar). This was a book that was so good I was getting mad at my people for interrupting while I was reading it. I simply cannot form the words to articulate how much I enjoyed it. I will definitely be re-reading this one. I encourage anyone who reads this review to buy the book and not borrow it. You need this one in your collection as it is with all of her books. Great book Ms. Lace! I cannot wait for the next one I have already pre-ordered it! A must read!

Let me say that I am one of Lolah's biggest fan. I've been #TeamMason from the start. I think I enjoyed this book. I will say it's not one of my favorites but I'm antsy to see what happens with this couple. The H and h both have issues hence them following in love after a trick. Can't wait to read the followup.

    Wow!!!
Ok this book took some getting use to. I loved Kelby. I felt like I could relate to her character. She's just a girl that fell on hard times and it seemed like things just kept piling up on her. Now, Mr. T took some getting use to. At first I was like "uh no" but the more I read the more I realized he was going to be a VERY interesting nut to crack. He has some ISSUES and I can't wait to find out what they are. I've already pre-ordered the second book in the series.

This book really surprised me. The subject matter was a bit risqué but I loved every minute of it. I completely fell in love with Antonio and I’m not sure he deserves my love. lol He is my kind of crazy. I can’t wait to read the next book Heart of Stone.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED, LOVED this book!!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 25, 2017
WOW this for me is Ms Lace at her very best! I love her most when she's unapologetic and does what she does best, and in Heart of Glass she does just that and then some. This book had me right from the get go, and once I started reading, I just couldn't stop. I hardly got a wink's sleep last night because I was that hooked. Antonio and Kelby's story was fast paced and laced with dark undertones some readers may not have the heart for.

I'm not big on dark romance stories, but I feel Ms Lace gave this story perfect balance. This book ticked all the boxes for me. Although some may see the drop dead gorgeous Antonio as some monster with a heart of glass, I see right through him. He may even believe within himself that Kelby is just another one of his conquests that he can chuck out with the rubbish, but I feel that she got to him good. Also, this book is a highly charged, deliciously erotic read that will have you all hot under the collar. There's no mistaking the the hot- off -the- charts chemistry between Antonio and Kelby.

I have always said Ms Lace has a way with words, and this book was no different. It is laced with some very funny bits that had me howling out in laughter. Joel and Kelby's girlfriend in particular, are a real hoot and will have you in stitches all through the book. I loved both of them and hope we'll see them in the other two books. I LOVED this book so much I can't wait to find out why Antonio became this jaded and cold man, also to see what's in store for him, Kelby and the new addition we found out about at the end.

NB: I hate to say this, but there are some editing and proofreading issues that need ironing out. They didn't bother me enough to spoil my reading though.
