Book of The Anointed (Saga of the Sons 1) Kindle Edition
Supernatural meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer in this exhilarating urban fantasy that’s packed with fast-paced action, emotional depth, and hilarious comedy.
When sixteen-year-old Jaden Davis heads out to the mall one day, he hardly expects to hear a strange voice commanding him to save a baby from a demon.
He’s shocked to discover that he can vanquish the demon, with a strange uncontrollable power. Suddenly Jaden is introduced to the Order of the Anointed, a secret cadre of monster hunters.
Jaden is introduced with a vengeance when this demon returns to open the Hell Gate and unleash an ancient legion of monsters known as the Sons of Chaos. Now with the guidance of a Shepherd, the friendship of three other Anointed, and protection from a guardian angel, he seeks to vanquish the malevolent force before it destroys the city.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2018I really loved the book. The characters were all unique and they each had something different that made you love them. But I must say that Fangs and Lay were my favorite. I can't wait to check out SMITE.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2019I loved this book. I start smite tomorrow and I’m so excited for it .
- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2019There are some interesting things happening in this book, the story is solid but kinda predictable but I am not sure that I will be able to finish it.
“Stake!” Romeo beckoned with his hand out. A piece of wood dangled out of a dumpster. Jaden reaches out with his hand, it snaps off like a twig, spins through the air, and impales the vampire." This is not the right way to write an action scene and this kind of thing is repeated many times no further than I have gotten in the book. If you are going to describe everything else in a past tense narrative then be consistent in the action scenes, don't suddenly shift to some kind of hybrid present tense like a sports announcer doing a play by play. I'm giving honest critique here as someone who does a bit of writing myself, this kind of thing will keep people from taking your writing seriously and I believe you have some good stories in you.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2018Great start to a dope series! loved the vampires here. My fave character would have to be Fangz. Bring on the next one
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2019Christian fantasy in general is god-awful but this book surprised me with its good pacing and balanced characterization. While it does get preachy, it doesn't break the plot or get annoying. I'll say more on the show but for now I am happy to have read it.
Wish god had blessed the author with better grammar skills. In Jesus name we pray... For better spelling and grammar.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2018A great read!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2018Thought it was appropriate for young readers, for me it was too predictable in the monologues & battles. Would recommend for first time readers to the genre.
