The mixing instruction is very easy. 2 parts plaster and 1 part water. It basically means if you use 2 cups of plaster you use 1 cup of water and that has worked well for my project. The plaster was already hardening in the mold in 10 minutes to where you can probably sculpt it with the proper tools if you were gentle enough. I hadn't been able to do any scraping or sculpting but the mold worked out perfectly and hardened fully in less than an hour, though it was only a small picture frame sized mold.
I would say to handle it with a bit of caution and not to be too rough on it or drop it since it can still break. It's not like glass or anything too brittle but if you're too rough or strong on it the plaster may snap or break.

For those who can't picture what size the carton is by its weight, the 4.4 lb. container is about the size of a half-gallon carton of milk.

I like the fact that it has a longer shelf life than most products, and you don’t have to worry about it drying out like premade ones.
The best part is that you can mix it to whatever consistency you need, for whatever project you were doing
