    Just what I needed.

    Just what I needed.
Inside my Saturn LS100 and under the radio, I have a small storage area, however anything I put their would soon come flying at me any time I accelerated, stopped or took a sharp corner. This pad solve that problem with ease. The pad comes with two sheets of plastic on it, which I kept on until I did a dry fit. It was about a half inch too long, so I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off the excess. After taking one sheet off, putting it on then taking off the top sheet, I now had a usable are to put my stuff. Works just as advertised, I just don't want to take it out, because it may take a lot longer to put back in.

There are some reviews on here that give this product a bad review because it is too sticky (which is ridiculous). It does it's job REALLY well and it should not be rated low because of it.

This dash grip is VERY sticky; I have never had anything fall off of it, which is what you are looking for. I have had other grips before and they are all worthless. We put this one in my wife's car because she has a Hello-Kitty bobble head, and we just did not know how to put it on the dash without it falling off or being too strong and damaging the dash. This is the key. We can put our phones on it while the bobble head still sits on the dash, and nothing has ever fallen off.

I would say though, that this is very sticky. The bobble head has been on the grip pad for several months and it has gotten more and more stuck to the pad. In the hot sun the pad gets more sticky, almost gummy feeling, and this has caused the bobble head to become firmly placed. The only way to get it off the pad is by removing the pad completely from the dash.

So, to conclude, this product does it's job very, very well. If you leave something on if for a long time, it will probably get somewhat stuck, but if you remove the pad, it everything will come off just fine.

      I would buy again.

This DashGrip works great! I have one on the Dash of my car. I bought it because my car is old and doesn't have an aux outlet, and I needed something to hold a portable speaker for a road trip. It did the job. It also holds my phone, and other large items. Two suggestions/observations: 1. Do NOT place small or flimsy items on it. Things like coins will be hard to remove as this is super sticky. My husband and I once stuck a McDonald's BBQ sauce packet thing on it as well because we were eating on the go. It worked, but it was tough to take off. 2. This item comes with plastic covers - one covering the front and one covering the back. Since I don't use the DashGrip every day, I leave the plastic cover on the front when I'm not using it or replace it when I'm done using it so that it doesn't collect dust and lose it's stickiness.

I love this nifty grip-pad. It was exactly what I was looking for since I can put my phone on it and see what flashes up on the screen, which I couldn't do when I was putting it in my cup-holder. It really can go almost anywhere and nothing will go flying while the car is in movement. If something if overly heavy, it probably won't do as good of a job but so far it has been able to hold onto anything I put on it. Super handy!

      Pros
+ Remains sticky and grips whatever you put on it (being realistic, weight-wise)
+ Conforms to whatever shape it is placed on
+ Easy to remove and re-use

      Cons
      - Stickiness attracts dust, dirt, hair, etc.
      - Can get floppy over time as mine sinks into my cupholder

Pro= It really holds ur stuff that is true.
Pro= it does what it says it can do.
Con= it does what it says to well.everything sticks to it.
Con= It is not safe for all leather. I drive a 350 King Ranch and it took color off of leather where it was. Now the center console has a big square patch on it which just plane sucks.
In the products defense I believe it is safe for most cars just not someone with a 2009 king ranch and I really should have tried a test in an unseen place.

In the end it’s gonna stay there to cover the defect and at least it works and if you have leather test it first.

It is rather sticky. I did not expect the dash mat to be of that type of consistency. If you put your cell on it, once it is time to take it off, you will struggle unsticking it. It will get stuck so much that the map itself will come off of the actual dash board. And the worse of all, it collects incredible amount of dust and dirt. Not cute. There are some dash mats that are not as sticky and still serve their purpose well. Would not recommend this one, nor I believe that people should put all types of junk that have no business there on these dash mats - if one gets in a car accident, all the items (well stuck or not) will act as a weapon that can cause additional injuries as they fly toward passengers and drivers faces.

I don't care what the other folks said about this being too sticky; it couldn't be too sticky for me. I also read that the items stick to it better than it does the dash. I can tell you that if you have Armor-all on your dash, it doesn't stick to the dash as well as if you take an alcohol rub and clean the area it is to sit. It sticks so well that I can lay my sunglasses in any position and they will stay. I even placed the glasses lens down to see if it would leave a residue and it didn't. I think it actually pulled the fingerprint off the lens. I've got an old flip phone that isn't in the best shape and it actually stuck so good that it almost pulled the batter cover off. It doesn't hurt my iPhone at all. The only regret is I don't have more to put on the dash for everything I use often and road trips. I know, I know, it'd look goofy but I'm telling you, no more cd cases or thumb drive or sunglasses sliding our the window or landing in the door pocket of the passenger door. I'm going to buy more.
