This fit the bill for a good Multi Card reader at USB 3.0
I needed a Multi Card reader for the front of my desktop case and be 3.0. This startech was a good choice, worked right out of the box, no drivers(win10). Plenty long enough USB 3.0 - 20 pin cable. I really like that its only 1 simple cable for the power and USB for the entire reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not too shabby!!
Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2021
Alright folks, heres a real review...This is for the 2.0 version [check to make sure your motherboard has the proper connection for 3.0 before buying]
2.0 version comes with a single 9-pin cord that plugs into your motherboard.
This version is a 3.5 inch size [DOESNT fit into a 5 inch disc drive slot], so make sure you have the 3 1/2 inch cutout on your pc for this one.

This is not bad at all. Construction seems solid...green light to show power, and additional red light to show you have some type of card in. Slots seem fitted, but smooth [at least on the build i got]. Read/write speed seems normal for 2.0 [15mb to 30mb per second]

**One important factor though is this thing CANNOT handle multiple cards simultaneously!!! That isnt a big deal though. It CAN however, handle a usb item and a card of your choosing. For 15 bucks and a few extra for shipping. This is an obvious 2-thumbs-up for anyone that wants to add a card reader to a desktop.
