    I loved this book. It was recommended to me by both of my BFFs, who said it had a slow beginning, but I certainly didn't think so. Another great thing about this book was that, despite the fact that it was in a series, there was NO CLIFF HANGER ENDING! I love that, since I can wait a bit until my hold for book two comes without freaking out about what happens next. Papademetriou did an amazing job of "tying everything up with a bow", and that bow was very pretty and sweet! I would recommend this book for girls in or about to enter middle school, because not only does it have an amazing story, it teaches you how to deal with hard times and common crises, such as your parents' divorce, breaking up with your BFF, and boys. Also, if you like to bake cupcakes, this book is chock-full of unique, original, and tasty recipes. This book also improves your creative energy. There is even a slight twist at the end, and overall, this book can teach anyone how to move on past bad events in your lives.

    This is a really good book. I found out about it at school and was very upset that the library didn't have it. My friend had it, so I borrowed it in study hall.     My daughter wanted this book because she read book #2 and liked it. She enjoyed the easy to read story line. I'm giving it 5 stars because, though the books are thick, they reading level is quite low, and it was encouraging for my daughter to be able to breeze through a super long chapter book. Sadly, her reading level is quite a bit higher than this, so she's no longer able to read the series and test on them for AR credit...but she still enjoys the books and her younger sibling is starting to read them now:)

    I read this book in one day because I could not put it down. I am 12 yrs old and this is a great book for girls in my age group. Hayley is a character that tween girls can easily relate to. She struggles with problems at home and at school, alike. The only thing I wish this book had is a better ending. I feel like things still weren't resolved between the characters... but I guess I will have to read the next book too :) Overall it was a great book and I can't wait to find out what happens next in the Confectionately Yours series!
