Customers are mixed about the quality of the computer chassis. Some mention that they have no complaints about the build quality, it's relatively solid, and an excellent piece of hardware. Good bang for the buck
The chassis is metal but the drive trays are plastic. No issues with install but concerned about the trays in the long term. I had to remove the shroud of the computer to seat the chassis properly but it wasn't a big deal since the shroud pops off. I really don't notice the fan at all and it sits about ten inches from me while I work. Four sata cables were included and I didn't see that when I ordered but that saved some money too. I left them bound together and it makes cable management easier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great deal!
Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2019
It came in a Newegg box. Perfect condition. Shipping seemed much more taken care of in a Newegg box. Probably because people could tell it has something fragile and expensive in it. There is a power connector on bay three that makes it difficult to put the drive in but it works nicely if you use a little force. Hot swap works nicely just be careful the disks are still spinng for a few seconds after you eject. I got it at a great deal compared to other manufactures. Matches my rosewill nautilus case but it's a little big for it. I plan on making a 4 drive raidz 2 with these after testing the drives a little. Perfect for a 4 drive raid. I'm using it externally and it works fine.

New model is okay for the money too but too different to be listed on the same page as the hot swap model in my opinion. Don't put the drives in backwards like I did at first.

I finally got tired of my 13 year old CoolerMaster Stacker's piss poor drive cage design, where I always have to spend half an hour to dismantle the whole sides and unplug the fans & cables from all the drives just to swap one out. Great case overall but the drive cage design was crappy.

This Rosewill cage was actually put together pretty well, I chose this over other tool-less ones because this one can actually accept 2.5" SSD's without any adapters, as the trays have holes for 2.5" SSD/HDD. Another reaason was that this has a 120mm fan, most others have smaller, noisy fans. But I removed the included fan anyway, and reinstalled my 120mm ball bearing PWM fan which I connect to the motherboard to control its speed. I don't know how loud or quiet the Rosewill fan would have been, but I didnt want to experiment.

The trays are plastic but if you aren't going to swap drives daily I think they will last if you're not rough with them.

All in all, it works great, except I don't know why the drive 2 LED flashes continuously. Not sure why, nothing is being accessed on it.
