I used it to add a wireless access point (WAP) to my network in a location that didn't have mains power available for a conventional USB power supply for the WAP.
No configuration needed, works straight out of the packet.
Quality is o.k. but nothing special.
No idea how durable it is, has only been in use for about a month.
No problems so far.
