When the LEDs flash on the on the front for the different device connection type you can see the red plastic for the sticks light up too which means that the LED doesn't have a cover over it inside the controller.I plugged in the USB receiver into a USB 3.0 extension cable I have that is connected to a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard and Windows 7 did nothing so I tried to pair it seeing if it would wake up the USB receiver but nothing happened. I plugged the USB receiver into a front 2.0 USB port on the front of the PC that is linked to the motherboard and Windows 7 started loading a lot of drivers. While that was happening I figure I would plug it into the PC and charge it. Once connected the Home and the 4 main buttons blinked in unison as the instructions manual stated. I removed it to try and sync it with the PC and when I held down the X button and then the Home button for a few seconds all of the LEDs for the buttons went out. I tried this a few times and then tried holding the Home button down for 5 seconds to turn off the controller and this didn't work. When I would press the Home button the LEDs for the 4 main buttons would come on but it would not pair. When plugged into the PC and I tried to pair it the PC LED was on solid and never flashed. I can get the controller to come on but when I try the X and Home button combo to pair it the LEDs turn off for all buttons and indicators on it. So, without touching the X button first and holding the Home button the controller turns off as expected. I pressed the X button and held down the Home button again and nothing happening. So I tried to turn on the controller and it wouldn't turn on. I plugged it into the PC and now the main 4 buttons and Home LEDs are all blinking quickly unlike before. After 30 seconds the LEDs all went off and not flashing every 2 seconds to indicate charging and when I pressed the Home button to turn it on while plugged in nothing happened.Unlike the PS3 controller this has knurls on the sides of the thumb sticks and it's a very nice touch, it will be interesting to see how long they last before wearing down. The connection to the PC as a Smart TV / TV Box to use the mouse worked easily and using the Select and X button switch to mouse mode did let me control the mouse in Windows 7 as the instructions said it would. The A button is a left click and the B button is a right click. In the Word doc I used to type this the right stick did nothing left to right but up and down moved the scroll bar up and down but it does move down very quickly in Chrome. To flip it out of mouse mode was a press of Select and the X button and it instantly switched out and the mouse LED started blinking again instead of being solid like when it's in mouse mode. The R2 trigger has a slight "catch" and noise to it like a small knob of plastic is catching on something inside. The D pad doesn't feel free flowing like a PS3 controller, it feels like it is moving around a gear housing or something with teeth on it. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet but maybe later I will. The 4 buttons that are not lit with LEDs for Select, Turbo, Clear and Start feel a little light and not as solid as I would think they should be but it's not a big deal and might turn out to be better in the long run as I use them more. The LEDs for the 4 main buttons and the Home button need to have a frosted cover over them below the buttons or the bottom of the button needs to have that frosting so that you don't see the actual LED. I know this is very inexpensive for the amazing amount of features but it's just a suggestion. The feel of it is nice in my hands I just wish it was a slightly different material on the outside as it's just a little too smooth in my hands like my wife's Otterbox Commuter case, I have the Defender and never have a feeling of that wanting to slide in my grasp. The mini USB socket is recessed and I know this is for protection but the recess around it will make it so that some mini UDB cables won't plug in because of the thickness of the connection ends. When connected as a Smart TV / TV Box to use the mouse but not in mouse mode I press the Home button it opens up another Chrome window and it does it when it is in mouse mode too. There is actually another Chrome window opened as opposed to another tab in Chrome. When I turn it off and back on it will go directly back into the PC connection mode where the outside two LEDs are lit and the mouse LED is flashing. Even when plugged in and charging on the computer the Home button would open Chrome windows.I have no idea how to get it out of the Smart TV /TV Box. I turned it off and left it off for a minute and tried Y and the Home button and now when it turn it back on it starts in Apple mode which it should but I can't get it out of that mode now. I tried a factory reset on the controller pressing the reset button with a paper clip while the controller was on and it shut off right after I pressed the button. When I powered it back on it was still in Apple mode. With the controller turned off I pressed in and held the button for 10 seconds and when I turned it back on it was still in Apple mode. The button does give feedback so I know I'm actually hitting the reset button each time. After a few attempts I realize that with the power on and when I press the reset button the controller just turns off and then when I press the Home button to turn it back on it goes right back into Apple mode. With the controller off I pressed and held the X button and then pressed and held Home button and it turned on it PC mode this time which it should. In this mode the Home button does not open a Chrome window. With it off and I press and hold the Y button and then the Home button it will go into Apple mode. I guess there is no switching with the controller on but that makes sense with all of the button combs for fighting and other games. In Android mode only the Home button opens a Chrome window again but no mouse abilities as was expected. I really would prefer a switch in order to select the modes and it would be less expensive due to no programming and testing, etc. to deal with and no issues like I'm facing either. When performed the reset the controller is now working properly with the start sequence to change modes. During the first set of driver installs for some reason Windows 7 tried to load 2 print drivers for some reason. The locking tab for the phone holder was missing so I had to return the first one from above. The second one is working properly so I guess I was unlucky on the first since there's no way to achieve 0% error tolerance. The functions that were an issue above are not present with this one. Connectivity is as shown in the manual and switches quickly. I tried using it on the PCSX2 emulator on a Windows 7 PC but I'm unable to map the buttons properly for Final Fantasy X but that's most likely an issue with getting the proper settings or changing of configuration file to get it to work. Basically it's not an issue with the controller but the emulator/game.As far as the phone holder, this one is solid and works very well. The finger screws that lock the angle in for the phone feel solid and this one holds my Note 5 with Otterbox case on it as well. The reset opening and charging port are exposed when the phone holder is attached so they are easily accessible. The holder locks onto the phone very solidly as well without any wiggle. This one feels like it's part of the controller when attached. The Select and Start buttons are very close to the bars for the holder but still work just fine. Getting the holder off is easy as well, just press down on the tab and it will open up. I also like the spacing of the grip pads on the holder clamp. It really is solid and not sloppy. Another good feature is the bottom holder piece for the bottom of the phone folds in to help with portability. It would be nice to have that somehow be able to be clipped to the back without it interfering with the control's feel in your hands but I'm not sure how they would do it since that would make the footprint of the controller grow. The controller wants to fall away from me with my phone mounted in the holder but that's because of the case and size of the phone. Not sure how that could be balanced without screwing up the balance and weight when being used without the holder and phone. When pressing any of the buttons they feel good and smooth with very little lateral movement, the Home button has slightly more than the right button set. The sticks feel very solid and have what feels like a much more taught set of bands inside because they require more force than a PS3 controller but I like that fact, make it feel like it is solid design. The movement is smooth as well and the button under them clicks a bit loud but there is good feedback on your finger when pressing it so that you know it has been activated. The knurls on the outside of the "top hat" of the stick is nice as it is another thing about the PS3 controller I don't like, too slippery. These are concave on top as well so that's another good design. Personally I would like for the concave part to have knurls or some sort of grip on it too. One thing I found out last night playing in the dark is that the button LEDs throw a lot of light out. The Home button and X button are blue and the brightest and closest to your face too.One odd note that I found with the USB wireless adapter is that my PC was not going into sleep or hibernation mode with it plugged in. After a lot of time spent troubleshooting and forgetting it was in the PC I remembered that it was installed so I removed it and now the PC behaves properly again. The other USB wireless adapter didn't do this so I'm not sure what the situation is. Might be a bad PnP driver install from Windows since it does it automagically.I've not played a game with vibration but when testing the motors on the PCSX2 controller configuration module the small and larger motors did very well and responded to the magnitude adjustments well too. These details will be part of the updates.I'll keep updating this as I use it more as I haven't used it until the battery has drained all of the way and how it lasts with the phone plugged into it as well as the durability of it and the holder. From the way it feels I don't see it breaking unless I'm a moron and do something stupid to it. I still can't believe that it has all of this quality and functionality packed into it for the price. You can tell that gamers and intelligent people got together to create this controller. It's nice to see that a product like this can be design and produced inexpensively as they realize the consoles cost a lot and so do games so it makes it so that more gamers can get one and enjoy them. The typical large console builders seem to cater to the widest demographic possible and make the controllers too watered down which is silly, it's like making a $25 sports car and selling it with normal compact commuter car tires. This is the controller that should be sold with systems and then if the casual consumers want the plain Jane controller then someone will make one, I've seen plenty of them unfortunately. On a side, note I don't want crazy Alienware LEDs on everything so it would be nice to have the LED switch or adjuster so that they can be toned down all the time or for being used in the dark.

Basically it's not an issue with the controller but the emulator/game.

As far as the phone holder, this one is solid and works very well.
The Home button and X button are blue and the brightest and closest to your face too.
One odd note that I found with the USB wireless adapter is that my PC was not going into sleep or hibernation mode with it plugged in. After a lot of time spent troubleshooting and forgetting it was in the PC I remembered that it was installed so I removed it and now the PC behaves properly again. The other USB wireless adapter didn't do this so I'm not sure what the situation is. Might be a bad PnP driver install from Windows since it does it automagically.

I've not played a game with vibration but when testing the motors on the PCSX2 controller configuration module the small and larger motors did very well and responded to the magnitude adjustments well too. These details will be part of the updates.
I'll keep updating this as I use it more as I haven't used it until the battery has drained all of the way and how it lasts with the phone plugged into it as well as the durability of it and the holder.

I got this controller a couple of days ago and have been using it to play games on Android and Windows platform. The best thing about this controller is,it can be used with your PC,PS3,Smart TV,Android and IOS smartphone. It comes with inbuilt bluetooth ,so you can easily pair with your devices.

----------------------------
INBOX CONTENTS:
-----------------------------
-Gamepad
-Smartphone mount for mounting your smartphone on this gamepad.
-2 usb cables ,1 for charging and the other one for OTG connection with gamepad
-A small pouch for the gamepad
-User manual and warranty

#Build Quality,Design & features:
---------------------
The layout of the gamepad is inspired from PS3 controller. But when connected to PC it is shown as XBOX controller anyway that shouldn't be a problem. The overall build quality of this gamepad is very premium and really looks and feels like an expensive gamepad. The face buttons are illuminated ,the analog sticks are smooth to control and all the buttons provide excellent feedback. The weight is very nicely balanced to make it comfortable to hold in hands.

#Smartphone mount: As mentioned ,you can mount your smartphone on this gamepad using the supplied mount. The smartphone holder holds your smartphone real tight ,so that it will not come out easily when you play. But it is to be noted that ,smartphone holder jaws will interfere with the hardware buttons in some phone models. One being Oneplus X ,the hardware buttons are almost in the middle ,so had to keep it towards the left side making the controller a bit left heavy.Anyway you can still play games comfortably.

#OTG connection: They have also supplied an OTG cable with micro USB at both ends. With this you can connect the gamepad with your smartphone.

#Bluetooth connection in smartphone: Turn On the gamepad by holding the Home button (g button) and search for Game Sir gamepad in your smartphone using bluetooth and pair it.You can use this gamepad to play only gamepad supported games in playstore like modern combat, dead trigger ,real racing, asphalt .

# Supports vibration feedback, if there is also vibration mode in the game.

NOTE: All the other pairing procedure is already mentioned in the user manual.

#Battery life:
------------------
As claimed by the manufacturer ,it will last for 18hours in a single full charge ,which is one of the best for any gamepad. Well I charged it for 3 hours when i first received it and I didn't had to recharge it again till now.I suppose I used this gamepad for atleast 8-9 hours till now.Anyway In my opinion the battery life is really great.

GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE:
-------------------------
All in all I didn't find any issue with the buttons and analog sticks. The trigger buttons are pressure sensing type.I tested this gamepad with Don bradman cricket and it worked fine.As it is recognized as an XBOX controller with windows 10 by default, all the latest games will work flawlessly.the controls are exactly the same as mentioned in the game.

#Overall very well built controller, feels great in the hands and has good platform support. It is little expensive for a gamepad but you have to take into account the great battery life it offers.

*Android - Absolutely go for it!, no issues at all flawless! comes with a USB MINI to USB Mini cable so you can use it wired or wireless.
*IOS - Make sure to check the game compatibility, this controller supports icade protocol ONLY. If you are looking for MFI ( FF7 and newer games ). Might want to look at the Steelseries stratus. Included happy chick app is a nice addition for old school gamers.
*PC - if you don't care about direct Bluetooth and are Ok with using the supplied dongle. This would be a great fit.

Thanks for reading my review :).I hope It provided all the information for a well informed and wise purchase decision.

I hope hope it helps :)
